Netanyahu's Trial: Mandelblit Testifies
David’s question: “Tell me more about this […]”
Eve: “The trial is in its defense phase right now. Netanyahu finished his own testimony in June after ninety-eight hearings across eighteen months, and the court moved to a five-day-a-week schedule starting October fourth to push through remaining witnesses before the presiding judge retires. The defense just called former attorney general Avichai Mandelblit, who approved the indictment but now can't recall whether he explicitly greenlit the bribery wording in Case four thousand — he says he kept it ambiguous on purpose to allow a broad probe. Netanyahu's lawyers are using that to argue the prosecution pressured him and hid evidence.”
